"Landscapes of Dauria - Potential Serial Transnational World Heritage Property" booklet published

The present booklet contains materials from the Russian-Mongolian nomination dossier of Landscapes of Dauria, submitted to the World Heritage Centre for the Committee’s consideration in 2015.

The nomination dossier of Landscapes of Dauria has been prepared by the following institutions: Natural Heritage Protection Fund, Daursky State Nature Biosphere Reserve, Institute for Cultural and Natural Heritage, Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences (all – Russia), Institute of Biology and Institute of Geography of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Mongol Daguur Strictly Protected Area (Mongolia), International Academy for Nature Conservation, Isle of Vilm, Dresden University of Technology (Germany). Development of this project is supported by Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) (Germany), Greenpeace, (Russia); World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Amur Branch, (Russia) and UNDP/GEF Steppe Project.

Published booklet continues Natural Heritage Protection Fund's publishing project concerning existing and potential Russia's World Natural Heritage Properties including the properties already inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List / UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List and promising candidates for the inscription as World Heritage Properties. "Lena Pillars Nature Park", "Virgin Komi Forests", "Golden Mountains of Altai", and "Volcanoes of Kamchatka" properties booklets were out of print previously, and also perspective property "Volga Delta" booklet. A total of 16-20 booklets supposed to be published in the series.
