Twenty-five new properties inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List which now numbers 936
The World Heritage Committee has inscribed a total of 25 sites on UNESCO's World Heritage List, including three natural properties, 21 cultural and one mixed site.

Decisions adopted at the 35th Session of the World Heritage Committee (Paris, 2011) on Russia's World Heritage Properties
The World Heritage Committee holding its 35th session in Paris according to the results of discussion adopted the following decisions concerning the state of conservation of World Heritage Properties of Russian Federation: Lake Baikal, Golden Mountains of Altai, Western Caucasus, Virgin Komi Forests, Curonian Spit (Lithuania / Russian Federation).

Published booklet continues Natural Heritage Protection Fund's publishing project concerning existing and potential Russia's World Natural Heritage Properties including the properties already inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List / UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List and promising candidates for the inscription as World Heritage Properties.

"Lena Pillars Nature Park" nomination submitted to the UNESCO World Heritage Centre
Natural Heritage Protection Fund finalized all necessary agreements of the "Lena Pillars Nature Park" nomination in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation during January, 2011, and today nomination dossier was submitted to the World Heritage Centre.

"Lena Pillars Nature Park" and "Bikin River Valley" nomination dossiers submitted to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology
New version of Lena Pillars Nature Park nomination dossier and Bikin River Valley nomination dossier (extension to Central Sikhote-Alin World Heritage property) were submitted to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation today.
